I have been very much looking forward to blogging this wedding at Exeter Cathedral – somewhere I have longed to photograph – but with a new website underway and a busy January I am only now starting to catch up.
In September I photographed the wedding of Ed and Natasha, a couple who met whilst Ed was travelling in Russia. Natasha is Russian and when Ed returned to the UK love continued to blossom over Skype. Eventually Natasha secured a scholarship to study in the UK and one day after a trip to a short film festival in London. After the film Ed led Natasha from the cinema where unbeknown to her with all friends and family were waiting. Looking up to the huge cinema sign she saw the words “Natasha will you marry me”.
The wedding and the bride were stunning. The ceremony at Exeter Cathedral and the reception hosted at Pipers Farm belonging to Ed’s parents, an award winning farm that champions slow food and is nestled in the beautiful Devon countryside. The day was very much a marriage of British and Russian, Roast Beef and Vodka shots! I think the images below show you just how much I enjoyed myself and the beauty of the day and contribute to Natasha and Ed’s romantic story.
Ed and Natasha have a fabulous life together and thank you so much for asking me to document your day.
