Sarah and Rhos’s outdoor wedding ceremony was just wonderful. Having photographed a couple of weddings at Trevenna Barns, previously the ceremony has been in church so having the opportunity to capture one outdoors was quite exciting. When Sarah and I met up to chat about her wedding day I was very pleased to meet the ring bearer too, young Angus, her working cocker spaniel.I am a dog nut so I did warn Sarah that Angus would feature heavily in the wedding photo’s! Sarah Met Rhos when she was setting up her Bakery in Dorset and needed an emergency plumber, the rest as they say is history. Both Rhos and Sarah wanted a wedding that was relaxed and intimate bringing two families together as one. Sarah works in events so she is well aware of how weddings can sometimes run away with themselves.
It was a very moving ceremony, Rhos could hardly contain his emotions when he saw Sarah coming down the aisle she looked so beautiful and happy. Angus delivered the rings faultlessly and was rewarded with a dentastix. After the ceremony a few family group photos were taken then on into the barn for a feast. We were very lucky that after the speeches the August sun was low and golden, perfect for a few more romantic portraits, so off we went with young Angus for a short walk. Before the evening’s entertainment kicked off Shelia, Rhos’s mum, announced that she was going to shave her head for Macmillian Cancer Support, the wedding being a perfect chance to do a little fundraising.
It was a beautiful wedding and a joy to capture, very natural and relaxed. Below are a few of my favourite photographs from the day.
Hope you have enjoyed looking through the gallery, if you are getting married at Trevenna Barns there are a couple more weddings from Trevenna to view on my blog.
