Set amongst the marvellous Devon Countryside, Deer Park Country House Hotel is a quintessentially English wedding venue. The Hotel has undergone some serious investment in the last few years with a sensitive approach to renovation so that the house retains all of its charm and elegance. From the sweeping driveway to the gorgeous terrace and Italian Gardens, nothing about this venue disappoints.
For the wedding photographer there is plenty to get excited about. The grounds of Deer Park Country House Hotel are plentiful and varied and as you wander you will find a fountain, a swing chair in the trees and even a rustic walled garden where the chef grows all his vegetables. I personally love the little wooden cricket pavilion that is tucked away and sometimes used for civil ceremonies. There are many epic back drops for photographs but the real scene stealer is scale and grandeur of the beautiful Georgian hotel alone.
The Hotel has a perfect blend of old and new, particularly in the conservatory where smaller wedding breakfasts can be held. The conservatory is a fabulous room, full of natural light and wonderful views out to the Italian Gardens.
