Ashwater Parish Church is found in North-West Devon, a few miles from Holsworthy Town. Ashwater village is very much the rural idyll you might expect to find after travelling down the long and bumpy country lanes that wind towards the village. Ashwater Church has one of my favourite layouts as there is no rood screen. If you are marrying at Ashwater Church you will find that the villagers love to wait by the stone boundary wall and watch the bridal party arrive. In the spring the grounds are a wash with daffodils.
